Reaching for the Less Fortunates

Category: General

I remember when I was a kid, every time that someone ask me what do I want to become when I grow old, I will immediately answer back that I want to be a doctor someday because I want to help the poor and sick people. This became one of my passions since my mother was a volunteer health worker in our barangay and whenever they had charitable works to do, she would always brought me along with her. Such experiences in reaching out for our less fortunate brothers and sisters stick to my mind and influence me in my dream of becoming a successful doctor.

But I guess people changes as they go along to the flow of life because of many hurdles that you will encounter. Just like me, I did not fulfill my dream of becoming a successful doctor because of financial instability. But I realized that even though I’m not a doctor I could still help others in our own special and unique ways. I’m an active member of a charitable organizations who goes place to place to give some help and I guess I by doing things like this already fulfills my ultimate dream to help others who are less fortunate and that is all that matters.
