When I got home, all I really want to do is to lay down on my bed because I feel very tired and exhausted from all the tiring works I had to finish in the office. I was about to fall asleep then when my sister called me up and ask me to accompany her in a nearby mall to play bingo. I told her that I’m not in the mood to go out and instead invited her over my place. I told her we could play it at home without going anywhere else.

My cousin came to visit me in the office because he have a problem with his wife. He wants to have someone to talk to so I gave him my sympathy and tried to comfort him. Don’t hold on because you think there will be no one else. There will ALWAYS be someone else. you’ve got to believe your worth more than being repeatedly hurt by someone who doesn’t really care and believe that someone will see what your really worth and treat you the way you should be treated.
Love changed me the way I think, the way I act, the way I decide. Sometimes, I even go against my principles and beliefs in life. Loving doesn’t mean I’ll be happy always, sometimes all it provides me is pain and misery yet I was blinded by strong emotions that I failed to see reality. Sometimes, letting go is the answer and it hurts like hell but I will soon relized that it’s better to see the person I love to be with someone else than lonely with me.

A Bit Frustrated

Deppression makes some men insane. I was on a training camp that time to become a police officer. The training includes the sacrifice of not seeing your love ones for the whole training. The training will last for six months in the camp. I have a girlfriend before I went to the camp. With her permission, I pursue my training in the camp inspite of the reality of not seeing her for a long time. She knows that my dream is to become a police officer since I was a kid. After my second month of training in the camp, I tried to contact her via e-mail with the use of the computer in the camp’s office but she’s not responding on my e-mails. I decided to quit on my training and see my girlfriend because I was thinking that there’s something bad happened to her. She is more important to me than my dream of being a police officer.
After getting out of the camp, I immediately look for her and found out that she don’t love me anymore. She had her new boyfriend and that is why she’s not responding on my e-mails. I was so depressed that time because I lost the most important woman of my life. If she only knew how difficult my training was in the camp but I was able to become the most outstanding trainee because she’s my inspiration. After I quitted on my training, there is no chance of getting back in the camp. I lost my girlfriend and also my dream of becoming a police officer.Now I’m moving on making myself busy on my computer.
Simple Way of Living

Selling of different kinds of vegetables is the primary source of income of our family. My parents usually woke-up very early in the morning to prepare the vegetables ready for delivery in the nearby market place. After they finished the work, my father together with my other sibling will bring the goods to the market and my mother will start cooking our meal for the breakfast. In less that an hour my father and brother will arrived because they already sell the vegetables to our buyers. And that is the time we will eat what my mother has cooked for us. After having our meal, my family will go to the garden and plant it with varieties of vegetables so that we may be able to harvest abundantly the next time.
My family’s way of living is as simple as that. We may not have the richness that other’s have but we have enough for all our expenses and for our studies. And our parents taught us to pray daily and asked God’s guidance because we believed that without Him, everything is impossible.
Loving Is Not Easy

I was riding my car on my way home when my cousin called me on the cellphone and told me that she badly needed someone to talk to. I ask where I could meet her and she said that she was on her pad. I knew the place and so I made my turn to her place. When I entered her pad, I noticed that she was not on the sala, so I went straight to her room and there I find her sobbing. I called her and upon hearing my voice she turned and embraced me. I asked her what is the problem and then she started to share it with me.
I learned that she and her boyfriend has just broke up that day because she caught him dating one of his officemate. I explained to her that loving someone is not that easy and part of it is being hurt and that she was not the only one who experience such situation. She was lucky that early this time she had known the real personality of her boyfriend and that she must accept the reality and learned to moved on. I also told her that she was still young and had a lot of chance to meet another man. After realizing what I told her, she stopped crying and painted a smile on her face.
Heart of a Good Samaritan

One morning when I’m busy doing my work at the office, my friend Mel came to me in hurry. She told me that on her way to our office she had sat beside a mother carrying her ill daughter. Out of curiosity, she asked what happened to the child and the mother told her that her baby had fallen from a six-steps-stairs two years ago and until now she had no idea of the disease her daughter had because they were not able to bring the child to a doctor.
So Mel decided to brought along with her to the hospital, were we worked, the mother and child. She asked for my help to contact my friend who is a resident pediatrician in our institution to examine her patient. I immediately called my friend and luckily she was not that busy. She told us to brought the child to her clinic. After some series tests and examinations she was able to determine the child’s disease. The pediatrician told us that there’s nothing to worry about. The child needs to undergo physical therapy to help her stand fully on her own and regularly takes her vitamins to regain her strength.
The mother was so thankful and told us that not all people had a heart of good Samaritan like us.
My Nephew’s 2nd Birthday

My brother and his wife came into our house the other day and told me about the coming 2nd birthday of my nephew named Prince Joren. Since I was the eldest of the siblings and also one of the godmothers of the child, they wanted to seek my help on where we could celebrate their son’s birthday with the little budget that they had. I told them that there’s nothing to worry because I had a friend who worked in a fast food restaurant that held different kinds of occasions and offers affordable packages.
The next day, I and my brother’s wife went together to the office of my friend Jerice and inquire of the packages they offer of a simple birthday celebration for my nephew PJ. Jerice handed us the brochures and explained everything as we looked for our choice. Then after a while my brother’s wife finally had her choice of package. My friend said that since it was my nephews birthday she would give us a discount. I thanked her for the great favor she had extended to us and I’m glad that my brother and his wife had finally solved their problem.
